Privacy policy

Last updated 30 October 2026

In short: we collect only what we need to book your ride: your name, email, mobile number and trip details. Your driver gets your name, number and pickup point. We never sell your data, show ads or ask for card details (you pay the driver in cash).

You can delete your account at any time from the app or on our delete account page.

1. Who we are

3. How we use it

  • To book, arrange and run your rides, including sending the details to your driver.
  • To call or message you about a booking: to confirm it, share driver details, or tell you about delays.
  • To show you fares, your booking ID and your past rides.
  • To provide support, resolve disputes and handle complaints.
  • To keep the service safe, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet legal and accounting duties.

We use your data only for these purposes. By signing in and booking, you consent to this use. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account (section 8).

4. Who we share it with

  • Your driver. Once a driver is assigned, our team sends them your name, mobile number, pickup and drop points and pickup time, by phone call, SMS or WhatsApp. You also get the driver’s name, number and vehicle. Drivers are local independent drivers we have checked; they may use these details only for your trip.
  • Our team. Our staff and support agents see bookings so they can arrange and support rides.
  • Service providers that run parts of the service for us, under their own security and privacy terms:
    • Google, for “Sign in with Google”.
    • Render, which hosts our servers and website, and MongoDB Atlas, which hosts our database.
    • Map providers: Esri (satellite images) and OpenStreetMap (street maps). Your device downloads map tiles straight from them, so they receive your IP address and the map area you are viewing, but not your account details.
    • Photon by Komoot, for place search. It receives the text you type to search and your IP address, but not your account details.
  • Authorities, only when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect someone’s safety.

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

5. Location permission

The app asks for location access only while you are using it, and only when you tap “Use my current location” or the location button on the map. Your location is used to place your pickup pin. Only the pickup point you confirm is saved, as part of your booking. The app never tracks your location in the background. If you refuse permission, you can still search for places or move the map by hand.

6. How long we keep it

  • Your account (name, email, mobile number, Google ID) is kept until you delete it.
  • Ride records are kept for up to 3 years for accounts, tax and dispute handling. When you delete your account, your rides are unlinked from you straight away and no longer show your name, email or number.
  • Phone bookings keep the caller’s name and number with the ride, for the same 3-year period, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
  • Server logs are kept for up to 30 days.

7. How we protect it

All traffic between the app, the website and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Only staff who need bookings to do their job can see them. Your sign-in session is stored securely on your device. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data and will tell you and the authorities about any breach, as the law requires.

8. Your rights and choices

Under the DPDP Act you can:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct or update your details. Your name and email come from Google; to change your mobile number, contact us.
  • Delete your account and data: in the app, open My rides → Delete account, or use our delete account page. If you cannot sign in, contact us from your registered number or email and we will delete it within 7 days.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, by deleting your account.
  • Complain to our Grievance Officer (section 11). If you are not satisfied, you can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

9. Children

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Children may travel when a parent or guardian books the ride for them. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you think a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
